What is Future Writers?

The Future Writers Programme is a collaboration between Future U, Edge Hill University, the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and Talk the Talk. It involves a number of different interventions themed around literature, language and communication; all designed to encourage young people to consider the real-world benefits and transferable employability skills of reading and writing.

Learners are encouraged to produce a piece of creative writing, following the brief below, which can then be submitted through the big blue ‘submit my writing’ button.
