What is Pathways to Physics?
Pathways to Physics is an exclusive work experience programme for 25 students who are studying towards a Level 3 course in Physics and/or related subjects (e.g. Electronics/Engineering). You will undertake the work experience across four days at Lancaster University.

Dates: Monday 21st – Thursday 24th August 2023.
Times: 10am-4pm each day

Why should I take part?
Pathways to Physics will allow you to consider whether a career in the field could be for you, as well as giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
This experience will provide you with specialised skills and experience to include in future applications to university, jobs and other progression opportunities.
You will also be able to keep in contact with your academic supervisor and may choose to pick up additional opportunities such as completing an EPQ or Gold CREST award, or even additional visits to the department and research group should you wish to do so.
