Our travel fund can be used to subsidise the cost of travel to trips and visits which support learners’ progression through, or from, education.

This means you can use the fund to support you towards reaching Gatsby benchmarks around encounters with employers and experiences of workplaces (5 & 6) as well as encounters with further and higher education (7).

We will consider each request on a case-by-case basis and offer a contribution towards the cost of transport on the condition that the learners participating in the visit receive two more activities from Future U. 

Our fund supports learners from Year 7 to Post-16.

Colleges will receive funding in proportion to the number of target learners attending the trip.
